Good Points

Cheap price holiday package.


Bad Points

Not satisfying pre-holiday info.
Unhelpful reps.
Dirty/stinky/noisy/unsafe apartment.
Local reps unable to sort out problems.
Hidden charges from owner to use fan in the rooms...etc.


General Comments

Olympic Holidays, our negative experience.
We arrived at Kos airport at night and we had to wait more than an hour for the transfer to take us to the apartment. We got there to find 2 dusty and horrible rooms and a bathroom where the toilet was leaking on the floor and the smell was like sewage. Following day bought everything we needed to clean, even Mr Muscle to try and stop the smell! Apart from the noise at night we had a terrifying experience. One night one of us went to bed leaving the window open as it was really hot. In the morning she found the window close and one of the chairs which were on the balcony moved near the window leading to the common stairs. It was clear that someone had checked the room, closed the window and left. Of course, being only girls in the apartment we got very scared.
The following day we decided to call 'Olympic Holidays' and explain the situation. The rep who answered the phone at Kos Town office told us we could change accomodation (in the same place anyway) for an extra charge. We told this person that the place was obviously unsafe. The person said she was not going to do anything else for us unless we moved to another room, same studios for an extra charge. We stayed in the same accomodation for the rest of our holiday, locked in our rooms at night even though it was very hot. Had we known we would have chosen a more expensive option, no doubt.


I recommend avoiding Olympic Holidays and to never enter George's Apartment/Studios in Kardamena (Kos-Greece).
