The holiday was good.
Bad Points
Like quite a lot of other people on this site I was mysteriously signed up with a "membership" to a company called Highstreetmax after making my holiday booking with lastminute.com. I have no recollection whatsoever of requesting this and I certainly did not give HighStreetMax my credit card details. They got my details through lastminute.com which is why I will never, ever book anything through lastminute.com again.
General Comments
If you must book with lastminute be very aware of this issue. If you check on internet forums and review sites you will see that thousands of people have had this problem. Apparently I signed up for some kind of offer unknowingly...something to do with ticking or unticking a box when I made my lastminute.com booking!
If you have ever booked anything through lastminute.com I suggest you check your credit card statements immediately.
