Nothing really, the only 2 niggling things are that the surgeon himself seemed a bit bossy and when I couldn't keep my eyes open during the procedure (having never worn lenses) he was a bit annoying.
And sometimes when I asked for more info about the details of the surgery and technical info, they were not brilliant at 'dumbing it down' for me. But both of these are very minor points.
General Comments
I had Epi-Lasik eye surgery with Accuvision in May 2007. When I first went to see them I found them completely helpful and not in the slightest salesy. There was no pressure at all to have extras added onto the cost (approx £1500).
The surgery itself was clean and painless (although due to having the rarer Epi-Lasik type there was a few days of awkwardness, but that's normal). The after-care was amazing and when I had to go back after hours for a checkup they were happy to see me. They were also fine with me asking for 3,6 and 12 months post-surgery checkups and at all times were efficient and friendly.
I went here because a chap at work had it done and recommended them, and I can pass that on too. It's been 18 months nearly since the procedure and my eyesight is 20:20. I didn't have a very serious prescription and I was only 24 at the time, but it shouldn't matter.
Thoroughly recommended.
