Good Points

Meeting a lovely couple from North Wales. The later part of the holiday when all the noisy youngsters went home. The studio was basic but not too small and good layout.

Bad Points

We arrived 9th July and it was very noisy, a lot of young people staying and caused us a great deal of disturbances throughout the night and early hours, shouting and screaming, jumping around from balcony to balcony. No hairdryer, no TV, no supermarket, hardly any cutlery and dishes (had to go down to the bar to get wine opened). Restaurant was not open at all, was stuck with bar snacks during day. Around the pool the youngsters were very noisy and used a lot of bad language so we didn't sit around the pool in the first couple of weeks as it was a bit intimidating. To walk into Kardemena it took about one and a half hours and it's very windy along the sea front.

General Comments

It was very disappointing to find that things that were advertised were not available, the accommodation advertised that it was good for families and couples - No not in July in my opinion!! We were lucky as we were staying for a month so although the first two weeks were not so good end of July and early August was good as the youngsters went home and families and couples arrived, making the place much more civilised. The bus into Kardemena did not run every hour, if you missed the 9:55 bus in the morning you would have to wait till 2:15 in the afternoon for the next one or get a taxi which was 7 Euros, which can work out quite costly if you go into Kardemena every day. The family who run the hotel seemed friendly enough but you could see they were tired from the antics of the young ones. Two couples that we met in the first week moved out to other hotels although we did keep in touch with them by meeting up in Kardemena now and then. If you want a nice relaxing holiday I wouldn't stay at the hotel in July, August and after is the best time. If you are young and want a mad time definitely go in July.
