* They installed the equipment fully (BT did not).
* Their technical support sorted out a problem in 1hour (similar not
resolved with BT)

General Comments
Virgin Media has as good customer services as the other telcos/ISPs etc. The only major thing I have against them is the promise of more HD content - they have not delivered enough to me on that promise!
Service wise - they came out (me not in) and sorted out the cable outside the next day, it was a complaint from my neighbour of the cable flapping in front of their window - I had no issue.
The VOD menu is more annoying than BTs aswell - but depends on how much you want to spend. BTs VOD system is better, but lacks HD.
