Looks nice, good loud bass response from not so loud rated system. Nice display with text readings on the fm stations.
Bad Points
Seems mine and a lot of these dvd players refuse to play a lot of dvd's. A lot of my dvd's seem to freeze when you press play on the menu screen. It struggles to play a lot of CDRW disks well aswell.
General Comments
If you buy a working one on ebay for £50 odd then you have got yourself a cracking system, whilst it lasts.

The box in question is the one the system is packed in; inside there are usually several smaller boxes, 7 of them in the case of the JVC TH-AR5 (8 if you count the remote?).
