Bad Points

Performance versions somewhat rare. Could they have made a standard model with a larger engine?! A good 1.4 or 1.6 engine would see these fly. Fuel consumption, while being good, is eclipsed by newer cars in same class.


General Comments

One of the best small cars of its era. Refined engine, comfortable ride and a very enjoyable and direct driving experience make it a dream for those who wish to modify. Pre face lift has even more character with its plain grille and spindly steering wheel. Face lift version looks softer around the edges and distinctly plainer for it.
