Good Points

Glossy Adverts, immaculate showroom, extensive marketing.


Bad Points

After care service from Magnet is poor, poor communication, poor workmanship, Management not helpful.


General Comments

Had my Magnet Kitchen fitted February 2004 - yes 2004 and still not right! The design failed, the fitting, electrical appliances and gas boilers failed, wrong fridge, workmanship of fitter very poor. NOW the cupboards have started to crack and peel, the plinths the same but we have been told even though the kitchen is covered by the 15yr guarantee that it's our fault due to excess water! On the top plinths? How can a damp cloth for cleaning cause this? a £15,000 kitchen falling apart after 4 years. Court is our only direction on this as Magnet are willing to take doors/plinths away for testing but we have to accept of the return of the doors/plinths there will be many drill hols where the testing has been done!

    I guess you wouldn't recommend then? Glad we have read all the reviews as can now decide that Magnet are definitely not the company we will use. Good Luck.
