General Comments

I recently bought some frozen veg from iceland along with many other products busy mums like myself use: pizzas,chips and such. Me and my 1 year old son had enjoyed our carrot sweetcorn and pea mixture and we decided to share the last portion half way through our veg i found a leaf threw it to the side and continued eating.I scraped a huge pile of veg onto my fork as i opened my mouth i saw a very strange looking piece of veg at closer inspection I was disgusted to find a dead slug.Well you can imagine how sick I felt and snatched my sons veg from him.I phoned the phone number on the back of my veg and the gentleman told me to take my slug and packet into my local iceland store where the manager would fill in a complaints form and I would receive vouchers for a free shop.I did as he said and 1 month later still no vouchers.If this was me I would be doing my best to please this customer after finding such a gross slug in the veg.I phoned iceland who I don't think were helpful at all I explained that I was so bothered about finding this in my food as it was disgusting and unhygienic and I had fed this to my son. Was I or was I not recieving vouchers for a free shop? 1 month later I finally received a ten pound voucher for my "free shop". There we have it why Mums SHOULD NOT shop at iceland.
