Good Points
Great colour, leaves hair shiny and soft.

Bad Points
The dye itself is a bit runny, can fade without proper care.

General Comments
Money saving meant that I could no longer go to the hairdressers every few weeks to get my hair highlighted, so I used the L'oreal metallic silver blonde colour as a cheaper option. The dye is a bit runny but not too bad, just be sure to use cheap clothes and towels while applying. The colour is gorgeous, not exactly the same on the box as it was lighter than I was expecting but it actually turned out better. I've used this twice, and the first time I did not use a shampoo specifically designed for coloured hair, and the colour did fade slightly, making it look brassy, but the second time around I have been using a colour care shampoo, conditioner and extensive treatment, as well as the highlight-enhancing conditioner supplied with the dye. The colour this time has lasted a LOT longer. It's been 4 weeks since I last dyed and apart from my darker roots you wouldn't know it.

I would recommend this product, but it might be worth sticking within a few shades of the natural hair colour to get the right look, as well as using a good shampoo designed for coloured hair.
