Rude, Not helpful, argumentative, The devil may care attitude

Was given a Nokia 8800 Arte Sapphire as a gift, Had a faulty screen, so went to return it, but had just missed the 28days by 5days. The phone had never been used, not even 1 second or 1 text, turned life timer stil read 0000.00 wasn't even switched on for more the 2 minutes, The person serving wasn't interested, most stood around talking. Finally served, told the guy the phone was purchased by a friend and that obviously my name isn't that of the person who bought it, he said no probelm, should have the phone back in 7days from the 17th of July which after a text message turned into 14days, which then turned into 21days, it has now been 30days, i have spent on average 45minutes on the phone constantly re-dailing and they NEVER and i MEAN NEVER pick up the phone, i think in 28days the have answered the phone twice, and because the idiot who booked the phone in didn't put a note on the account to say it was a third party i.e ME that brought it in, i can't get an update on the where the hell my very expensive handset has gone.
Sooo......
I went to the store today 15/08/08 stood in the store for 25mins and rang the store phone, for about 20mins even though about 4 member of staff where doing nothing, you could hear a faint ring and no one even seemed interested that i was ringing.
Called head office to complain, they told me that, it was for me to take up with the store, I would if they answered the DAMN call! and couldnt't tell me where my phone was because the phone wasn't directly purhcased by me..... SO let me get this right.....i gave a faulty phone back, and they cant replace it, and now the cant tell me where it is, because the account isn't mine! IM NOT INTERESTED IN THE ACCOUNT! I want to know where my phone has gone( £1200rrp i might add)
Points to note are that they use an 0870 number which are charged at national rate, and because it is automatically answered you are charged from the get go, To date all the 0870 calls have set me back about £30 i now have a direct number which i may add, they still dont answer!, and they still dont have any idea where or when my phone will be back. Will be going in tomorrow to find out what is going on.
