Good Points
Excellent build quality, great stereo sound that easily matches most 2-channel amps if connected in bi-amp mode. Easy to set up thanks to auto-setup. Lots of set up options, lots of inputs including 3 components, s-video and lots of optical inputs for sound.
Bad Points
No HDMI, but there aren't many that do at this price. You don't really need HDMI, just connect the video directly to the TV and optical to the amp.
General Comments
I wanted an amp that was great for stereo as well as 5.1 channel. As long as you follow the instructions and connect the amp using the bi-amp configuration it sounds great when playing CDs, better than my Cambridge Audio A100 amp, which already sounded pretty good. The CDs sound crisp and transparent. Buy the Denon AVR-1907 with confidence.
