When visiting the KFC on the docks at Preston Lancashire I am getting totally fed up with them getting the order wrong, even though I told them repeatedly what I wanted. Also, when the restaurant is closed I have to take my food back to the serving window risking life and limb doing so as I am competing with cars passing through the drive-thru. I also thought the restaurant closed at 10.30pm and the drive-thru at 11pm. But both seemed to be closed by 10.30pm. The minority of the staff, especially the one I took my second wrong order to were seemingly rude and unhelpful to me.

I cannot understand why they ask me if I want something towered? If I did, I surely would ask for it in the first place? This is what caused the problem, as after I said no tower up, the lad on the speaker re-read order and surprise surprise, Fully loaded zinger tower! I had to tell him again when we picked up food at window, hoping third time lucky he would get it right, but you have probably guessed it, NO!

    Hi there.

    I'm a duty manager at one of the KFC stores, and in response to your review:

    - it is part of our natural selling-up process to ask if you want your burger towered. Why? Because it adds a little more onto your bill (at my restaurant its 40p at the moment), and a lot of people who ask for a fillet or a zinger sometimes think that they automatically come with the hashbrown and cheese on them. I appreciate that you told the cashier that it was not towered, but mistakes do happen....
