Good Points

Cheap and Cheerful
All inclusive drinks were good
Good selections of food everyday
Pool was clean
Plenty of activities
Close to local shops and pubs


Bad Points

None. We were after a cheap break and got one with a decent hotel in the mix!


General Comments

Booked our stay at the Sol Balmoral on globallatedeals.com and was surprised how cheap it was. Had no issues with any part of the holiday or booking. Hotel was basic, but clean and tidy. Rooms were OK, not massive, but we had a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice as we could sit outside with a drink in the evenings.

Plenty of entertainment for the kids (it was 'mini-disco tiiiiiime' quite frequently!) and sports activities for kids and adults (archery, football, pool games, etc..) Main pool was clean (but cold!), always crowded though - as you'd expect! Occasionally went over to the bigger pool at the Sol Chihuahuas which was massive (yet still cold - lol)

Buffet style meals which had plenty of choice and the drinks were always decent portions (9 parts vodka - 1 part coke!). Just could've done with a full pint glass for the beer instead of a little plastic cup which needed a refill every 2 minutes!
