There's no chance of me getting a loan at their headline rate.


General Comments

I applied for a loan from Your Personal Loan.co.uk today with their headline rate of 7.6% APR, having just been accepted by another company for a similar loan. Within hours I got an email advising that I had been turned down but that I would be contacted by their brokers, Freedon Finance, to discuss "other options". I spoke to the broker, who confirmed that there was no way he could get that rate of 7.6%APR (not just for me, but for any customer) but he would be happy to see what offer he could get. In the meantime, my credit rating now reflects that I have been turned down for a loan by Your Personal Loan.com, so I would steer well clear of them if I were you.
