Good Points

I have been using the Small Business Manager 2007 for 2 months and graphically the product looks great, and using it should be quite easy but not as easy as it looks. It introduces each module with a flow chart and you have to use each process in turn to get to the required finish point.


Bad Points

The bank synchronisation is difficult to understand, and it is very easy to end up with two versions without understanding why. You can look at the back end of the system at all the double entry items and figure out which ones need deleting but very complex to do so. When you go back into a purchase order or an invoice etc to edit the monetary value is not calculating, it keeps putting the value at zero even though the quantities and price are still there.


General Comments

I am running a small business and really wanted this product to work for me rather than the other way round. I may have to start again because I have double entries which I obviously dont want to appear in my accounts because I will have to pay tax on a fictitious entry. The more I try to fix it the worse it is becoming and help has been difficult to get.
