Good Points

Highlights applied areas, Brightens eyes, Add volume when added to the lip area.


Bad Points

Doesn't hide my dark circles well - Have to use concealer (that does not highlight area) before Touche Eclat to get the whole effect (covered dark circles, highlighted eyes)


General Comments

Didn't know how to take this product!
It Highlights the eye area (BONUS!!) but doesn't do the best job at actually concealing.

I tried applying this over and under my foundation to see which worked best with this product and for my face. Neither way did the Touch Eclat highlighter cover my dark bags under my eyes.
Instead I tried first applying my MAC Select Cover Up concealer (which has always worked wonders in covering the black circles, but not so great on highlighting the area).
It covered well, then applying foundation, and the Touche Eclat afterwards for the brightening/highlighting effect.
Only then did the product work. Disappointing considering its price tag. Furthermore, as much as I love it as a HIGHLIGHT PEN, it isn't so great as a concealer. Also, I wish that it lasted longer, where I don't have to touch-up throughout the day.
A GOOD POINT, however, it did not flake, dry, cake or crease.
And anyone who has this problem should look at their foundation, and whether their using Foundation prior to(as this is a must before applying any type of makeup!!)

I would recommend this product to someone who doesn't have proper dark circles under their eyes, but merely want to highlight or brighten that area, and around the lips for the plumping effect.


disappointing considering I am still yet to find a decent concealer that both conceals and hides my dark circles, as well as highlight the eye area.
