Expensive, less practical than superminis
The new Mini Clubman D is the latest incarnation of the revised BMW-Mini of recent years. Incorporating BMW technology in a compact John Cooper-like body is sure to impress.
The new Mini Cooper Clubman D incorporates BMW's EfficientDynamics technology, as seen in their BMW saloon cars. With technical features including regenerative breaking and a more efficient battery, this new Mini is reported to offer around 55 - 60mpg. Combined with CO2 emissions of 109g/km, the Mini Clubman matches the emissions of the Toyota Prius and sure to raise a smile when drivers see the road tax changes and the London Congestion Charge rates...
All in all, the Mini Clubman is a bold and positive step for the BMW Mini division.
