Good screen, looks nice, comfortable and silent keyboard, built-in webcam, seems solid.
The fan makes quite a lot of noise, and it doesn't take much before it starts running. It has nothing to do with the computer, but I don't like Vista very much, it prevented me from connecting to my wireless network with WPA encryption.
I bought a new computer because my old one (also a Dell Inspiron, 4 years old now) has started to become slow and the fan runs almost all the time, which is incredibly annoying to listen to! Therefore, I was quite disappointed to discover that the fan on this one also runs frequently. Although it doesn't make as much noise as the old one, it takes less for i t to start. I am sending this computer back and buying another one.
All in all, if you don't mind the fan noise, I would definitely recommend this computer! My experience with Dell PCs is that they are usually of very good quality and last long.
