General Comments

Me and my boyfriend have rented our apartment through Martin and Co in we have found them to be very unprofessional. When we first went to view the flat together we straight away called them and told them we were interested in the flat. They then told us that there was a reference fee £150.00, so my boyfriend paid this over the phone. The application form was sent through which we both filled in and faxed back to them. My boyfriend then got a call asking if it was both of us that were going to be living there? We were then advised that it would be another £50 so £200 ref fees altogether. We reluctantly agreed that we would have to pay this. We then went in signed the contract and arranged to move in on 26th of the month and when we went down to collect our keys we were told that we weren't moving in until 31st of the month! Even though our contract stated that our moving in date is 26th! We argued and they did let us move in on that date (as stated in the contract anyway). Generally we have had lots of problems and we havent even been living in our apartment for that long. Most recently we reported repair issues to them and I am still awaiting a call back, though I really don't expect to hear anything. When our contract is up I will be moving as I dont want to have to put up with this any longer.
