Fabulous clubs. Long-hitting, consistent yardage and plenty of spin. Slightly weightier head gives a nice feeling at impact and provides great feedback. One of only a few sets on the market that are truly 'forged' irons.
Bad Points
What bad points? These clubs are not for beginners, so yes, if you hit an off centre shot, you are going to lose yardage, lots of it and get lots of feedback to tell you so. On the upside, you can easily feel where the shot went wrong e.g. toe, heel, high on face etc.
General Comments
Overall, an amazing set of irons. Both these and the MP-57s are, in my opinion, some of the best irons Mizuno have made. Consistent yardages, long-hitting, lots of spin, shot-shaping control and a clean look make these irons well worth consideration if you're looking for some new sticks. BUT, these irons are NOT for beginners. I would only recommend these irons to single-figure handicappers, purely on the basis that they are blades, have a relatively small sweet spot and require a consistently good swing to gain the benefits of them. If you have that, get them!!!!
