Nice looking, aluminium deck should give some corrosion resistance which can be a problem with steel decks. I bought the electric start one for my wife to be able to start it easily, but it starts easily by hand anyway. Has several different speeds (moving over the ground that is), but haven't found much use for theis feature yet. Fairly quiet as mowers go.
Poor grass pickup with the slightest sign of damp grass. It's a fair weather mower only. A bit clumsy and not the lightest considering it's quite a smallish mower. The grass bag won't fill up to its capacity so frequent trips to the waste heap. Poor ergonomics- the grass bag catches on cables and the starter cord when you remove it. The handle folds down for easier storage but it's crude and then it catches on the engine when you pull it up again. Even better the handle when being pulled up again is trying to turn the engine by pulling it over as the starter cord is being drawn out as the handle moves upright, which makes it a bit difficult to do! I think the two control bars on the handle bar are the wrong way round, and found them difficult to use, but maybe that's just me.
Poor design and unimpressive performance. I had a push Atco petrol rotary before which is being pressed back into service again. Much easier, even if means I get more exercise pushing it, which the medicos will tell us is a good thing!
