On outgoing flight, we had a trainee as our attendant. She was very attentive and kind.
On the way back, we had a geriatric crew for our flight attendants. They appeared to have an attitude and didn't seem to care very much for their passengers. Thought the entertainment system was poor, both in quality and choice.
I have not flown with American Airlines before this. I was not impressed. We were in business class from LAX to LHR and back. As I said, on the flight to London, we lucked out with a trainee. I cannot say enough good things about her! On the way back, the attendants were borderline rude in my opinion and the service could not even be compared to other airlines first or business class.
The entertainment system was identical on both flights. My screen kept falling out of its sockets, and my husband's kept turning black and white and flickering. The movies were old and there were only a few of those. I was in seat 9A outbound and 9E inbound. Those were the "new business class" seats. They were just OK in my view, but comfortable enough. Overall, I don't think I will fly with American Airlines again, unless they are my only option.
