My fiance bought me a 1.02 carat white gold diamond ring from Ernest Jones in Nottingham. I received it on 29 July (two weeks ago). However, a small part of the diamond fell off today. I wonder how this would happen? I wore it very carefully. I had written an email to IGI to check if the Jewellery Identification Report is authentic and valid but I haven't received a reply yet. My fiance and I will go to the store to ask for a refund on Thursday. I hope they will give us a satisfactory explanation about the falling part of the diamond.
