Good Points

Spectacular views. Extremely helpful and friendly proprietors nothing is too much trouble, rooms very clean nicely furnished, air conditioning, safe, nice kitchenette. Lovely garden and outside pool/bar area. Not too far from Skiathos town for evening meals. Nearest beach very nice, two nice tavernas


Bad Points

Bathroom good enough size but shower tray quite small with curtain, a bit of a problem negotiating our showers however is adequate, always plenty of hot water and pressure very good. Can hear traffic from main road at bottom of hill but cannot at night when air conditioning on


General Comments

Our second year at Villa Melia, booked independently, and our emails answered promptly and with good information. Bus stop at bottom of short hill but taxis very friendly and helpful if you do not want to hire transport. There is a very friendly but unintrusive dog Daisy and quite a few cats which mainly keep to themselves. Not too far to town to eat in evening but lots of places to eat all along the coast road, just ask the proprietor or taxi drivers. No other brits this year as first year as independent. Only a couple of children this year and none last year .
We will definitely be back at some point. The people in Skiathos generally and in particular here, are some of the friendliest. The mother even presented us with a Skiathos cheese pie for our lunch one day.
Would highly recommend. We were four ladies, chilling out at the end of term, we were not bothered by unwanted attention and enjoyed visiting many beaches and restaurants courtesy of our very special taxi driver.
