In my experience late, lack of concern for passengers, poor service even in first class, rude stewardesses, etc.
I was stranded in Accra, Ghana last week. They claimed we should arrive at the airport between 4-6 am for a 10:15 flight to New York City from Accra. Delta refused to find lodging for us. On the 5 of August, they finally came with another flight, and delayed departure by five hours, stranding hundreds of us passengers in New York City. We were waiting in a cold airport around midnight, many passengers with babies and the elderly. They gave us 7 dollar vouchers for meals and put us up in a cheep and damp Ramada Hotel for that night. I am a frequent flyer member, but over and over, I have noticed how poorly we are treated by Delta. Besides, the treatment for African bound flights is below international standards.
