Only a short flight. Great holiday!!
Poor Food. Poor Leg Room. Poor Holiday Reps
We flew with Thomas Cook in May from East Midlands going to Reus (Salou)
The flight was only 2hrs 20 mins thankfully! As we got on board they was not 1 cabin crew member to great us or show us where we was sitting which was stupid when everyone was trying to get on all in one go! We finally got seated and set off to Reus. The cabin crew bought the food round which was appalling, they wasn't even enough to feed a baby! All we got was 1 sausage, tea spoon off toms, half of an omlette, a cake that you didn't want to be eating at 6am in the morning! We didn't even get a hot drink due to the bad turbulence over France. The kids didn't get a kids meal it was the same as an adults meal! So adults book all kids meals!! (its cheaper). After we had eaten the food we had about a hour to go until landing, the seat space was awful you couldn't even move your legs without hitting the chair in front off you! Poor person! We had no tele due to technical problems! Same with the music you only got 1 channel. We finally touched down after a boring flight and met our rep who was taking us to our hotel which was useless!! He spent more time on his phone then he did sorting the guests! Anyway we finally got there and the coach rep didn't come with us to get us checked in like he did with the rest off the guests, we had to do it by our self! After a great stay in Salou it was coming to the end of the holiday so the hotel rep thought... We got a letter pushed through the door saying 'unfortunaltly its nearly the end of your stay'' we still had four days left!! Id expect to get that 2 days before leaving. So it was the night before we was leaving and I went down to the rep to ask where it tells you what time we was getting picked up to go to the airport as I couldn't find it in the folder like it was meant to be! So I asked her where abouts it was and she bit my head off! Well we finally was on the way back to the airport the coach was 15 mins late!!!! So we was one off the last to check in right at the back of the queue. Although the way back was much better with a nice rep it wasn't too bad. The food on the way home was much better as well not a lot but a bit more then on the way. Still no entertainment but hey! I would not fly with these again and would not advise them to anyone! Thomas cook need to get better reps/cabin crew and also think about the seating on the plane!
