Bad Points

Laptop I purchased is faulty.
I cannot get through to head office, all I do is speak with customer service and go round in circles


General Comments

I bought a laptop from PC World and at the time foolishly took out a one year insurance. Laptop seemed faulty from the moment I turned it on. Despite sending it back and sending several letters, I kept being told that my contract was with PC world support. I felt as though they totally ignored my rights. Turns out that the memory card was faulty, however despite their so called tests they did not pick up on this. Apparently a friend who knows about computers tested it and said it was evident right from the first test. I have changed the memory card and so far no problems but it has meant I did not have a working laptop for over 2 years and constantly had to erase my whole system to get it working again.


I will never buy from PC world again.
