General Comments

I was put in contact with Gregory Pennington and told this would be the best way to deal with my debts. After being on the phone for 2 hours I agreed to their help. I was posted out the pack to read through and after discussing it with my husband and looking at there fees we decided they would be no point in going ahead as we would only be paying out £100 less a month and really didn't see the need to go ahead, therefore we decided to sit down and work things out ourselves. I returned no forms therefore they did not have anything signed therefore they wouldn't be able to do anything until they had all my creditors details. Anyway the 1st payment was to be paid by my debit card until my new bank account was set up. As we didn't send the signed file back I believed they would not take this as it was obvious we didn't want to proceed. The payment was taken from my bank for £247 last Wednesday this made me overdrawn and a £25 charge from my bank. I rang on the Friday when I saw the payment gone from my account and asked them to pay it back straight away. The excuse was it wasn't showing on there account and they could not refund me until it was. I contacted the bank and they informed me it will be credited to there account and that they should refund me straight away. I rang back and could not get through and so left an answer phone message to refund me straight away as I had no money. I received no reply and now I have no money to live on. I am disgusted that this company knows my difficult financial situation yet they have now left me with no money and overdraft fees to pay. I wouldn't use this company as all they are interested in is making money out of you and not helping you. They have made my situation worse than ever. So all I can do now is wait till Monday and hope I get the money back.
