Bad Points
Maps are expensive and hard to get. I was in America and tried to obtain maps for the system (as cheaper than buying in UK)but couldn't find any retail outlets selling it. I ended up buying a new TomTom for the same price as a SD card (in the UK) with N. America on it.

General Comments
The Garmin Nuvi is really easy and intuitive to operate and I think better than the TomTom.
I much prefer the operation of the Garmin to the TomTom but.... TomTom offer much cheaper maps & updates with great discounts.
