Good Points
The Qualcast AMR 32 does rake well (much less tiring than by hand.) Height adjustment is simple & straightforward. Mine has been reliable (unlike reviews of Flymo lawnrakers I have read.)
Bad Points
Short power lead,
General Comments
The Qualcast Lawnraker 32 has the feel of the B&D lawnraker that I had 20 years ago, worked over by a production engineer so that some of the parts (e.g. the collecting box & its clips) are cheap & nasty, but in my opinion not by someone who has thought about what a gardener wants. Could so easily be better. The power lead is short (12m) and fixed, so tempting one to use an extension cable. The control switch is awkward (and strictly right-handed). Collection is poor - thatch piles up on the lip of the box. It is tempting to reach forward and clear this whilst keeping the tines running (because the switch is awkward). The revolving tines are exposed and close to where thatch collects. The collecting box projects a long way in front and is difficult to attach and detach (except by accident) - there are 3 plastic lugs, one of which always seems to stick. A rearward box might be better?
