Good Points

Very near to the beach, large apartments, quiet but near enough to main bars, shops etc. Near the Jaggy Thistle for the last drink of the night. We enjoyed this holiday again and would consider returning next year.


Bad Points

Hotel staff very grumpy when arriving home late at night. Sheets were not replaced in the week which we were there. Maid service walking into the room at 9am while the family were still sleeping. Our front door would not shut properly and requested that this be investigated however this was never carried out.


General Comments

This is the second year we have stayed in the Portofino apartments. We have found the apartments spacious and location very good as you are far away enough late at night from the Irish part although not to far away to join in the fun. We went as a family who enjoy a night out however the hotel staff were very unpleasant when returning at night complaining that we were making too much noise.
