General Comments

Our first visit to Egypt saw us on the MS Nile Odyssey at the start of the holiday in Luxor. Our first impression on board was favourable. It was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite, and not pushy. There were no 'baksheesh' requests at anytime from anyone on board. The shop had fixed prices on everything and they were fair prices too. Everything was cool, calm and efficient. If only we had appreciated this at the time!
Our time on the Nile Odyssey was easily the best part of the holiday. It's a pity that the rest of Egypt doesn't follow suit.
If you visit Egypt for the first time and stay on the Nile Odyssey, use the shop on board to get your gifts at a good price; they probably wont be beaten elsewhere, no matter how hard you try.
Summary 10/10 - Well Done - Hilton Group take note!
