Overall Rating
- Value for money

Good facilities. About 80 % of machines in working order.
Bad Points
Mis- selling. Staff were unresponsive when I went to them with an actual problem as opposed to just handing me the towels.
General Comments
I joined Next Generation in July 2006. My wife had come along with me as she intended to join as well along with my son but only after two months as she was going abroad. The rep convinced us that it would be good for all of us to join immediately and promised me that I could suspend the membership for my wife and son for the 2 months. A week later when I asked them to suspend the membership for the two of them, they refused saying that the contract said that I could do that only after one year.
Last year, I changed jobs and then went over to NG to ask to cancel my membership. I explained my circumstances and was then told that it would be better to suspend the membership and they they could cancel the membership anytime I wanted. Now I have switched jobs again and there is no way that I will be able to join back. I asked to cancel my membership and they have asked for 3 months fees as a penalty- works out to a cool 450 pounds! I have been given inaccurate information twice and I would strongly advice anyone planning to join NG clubs, not to do so. I should have learnt my lesson the first time in the first week but I was a fool
