Kodak EasyShare EX1011

“The Kodak EasyShare EX1011 is a good quality display...”

Good Points
Works well with USB thumb drives, handles flash cards nicely, and I had no problem getting wireless running - I provided firm IP addresses and DNS using the numeric on-screen keypad, and it took care of the rest. The manual is thin, but has a lot of precise data if you actually take the time to READ it - a cursory glance will not do it. More details available online from Kodak at addresses given in manual. Excellent screen size - basically a standard 3X5 photo quadrupled.

Bad Points
A bit pricey but that figures since it is a uniquely large format.

General Comments
The Kodak EasyShare EX1011 is a good quality display making full use of the 480X800 capability. Certainly not like a monitor but then it is not usually going to be viewed from as close as a monitor. Ours sits on a sideboard so it is viewed from an average of 6 to 10 feet away and the resolution is great for that distance. Excellent colour balance in the photos. The built-in computer interface is a fascinating example of an appliance application. Good value - I would recommend it - and I honestly have not seen the problems grieved about in the other postings.
