Bad Points

Where do I start - Salesman only seemed concerned with his commission and after the sell I never heard from him again. They get contracted installers in. I think they are completely over priced and even if the brochure looked good, that's about as good as it got.


General Comments

Salesmen seemed very persuasive and using Hard Sell - can only get discount if you sign tonight - LESSON 1 (Never sign anything under pressure)
We had our en-suite done 5 years ago - it cost us around £9000 then, plus interest using their so low monthly payment plan, ending up costing us a lot more. Bathroom didn't look bad, but it took the installer ages to complete - LESSON 2 when they did get back to me, they seemed non very helpful in trying to speed things up and why would they be? - LESSON 3 (Never pay everything until it is fully installed and you are happy with the work)

Now 5 years on we had the other bathroom and kitchen done and from lessons learned we haven't used Doplhin again - Main bathroom, Utility and Kitchen costing as much as Dolphin charged us for en-suite 5 years ago. Good thing as well we did the work as we have now discovered that the bathroom leaks everywhere from the en-suite, so much so that the plasterboard and some of the woodframing have rotted completedly. Now we are forking out another 5k to fix the en-suite, the supporting woodwork, the plasterbaord and the kitchen ceiling.
