Everything. Seriously.
General Comments
The first 'book' in Breaking Dawn has the wholesome feel of being rushed quickly by Stephenie Meyer. Bella's already married by the second chapter, and uses the excuse of crying for the lack of description. It all has a rushed feeling, written so fast that the change of setting between the dancefloor and the shadows by the trees is easily missable, and you half-wondered why people didn't notice Jake turn into a wolf. Then, just as quickly, Bella is whisked away, falls asleep as for MORE lack of a story, and arrives on 'Isle Esme'. Yep. Thats right. Isle Esme.
From there on in its just endless sex it seems. Bella has sex, Bella asks to have more sex and is denied. Bella dreams about sex, then has it again and then again and then she gets pregnant!?!?! Suddenly morning sickness, cravings and a little bump all come with the first week of pregnancy. Hurried or what!? And then there's a load of jabbering between Edward and the maid which I dont even understand (in another language so yet again Stephenie doesn't have to write it) & then their off again.
Whats more Bella needs to hear about the five stages:
Denial
Depression
Anger
Bargaining
Acceptance
Bella just accepted she was pregnant, no 'No I cant be!'[denial] or 'I hate this. Why me god!?!?!'[depression] or 'Edward you supernatural *******, ever heard of a condom?'[anger] or 'If I'm pregnant I'll let edward buy me a house and my own island' [bargaining]. Just flat out acceptance.
To be frank, I'm disgusted.
