Lovely jewellery. You tend to get very good value for your money. Personal shopper is fantastic.

Takes ages for refunds, but they do come.

I took some black diamonds, bought from gems, to a jeweller, who tested them with a diamond/ moissanite tester. They tested as moissanite, which he showed me on the reader, and he told me how terrible gems were. I sent the jewellery back to gems, together with a lot of other purchases from them and they assured me they were black diamonds, but refunded my money anyway, despite the timeframe much exceeding their 30 day period. I recently bought some more black diamonds and other things, as I figured that the prices for the gold alone made it worthwhile, even if the stones were moissanite. They looked lovely as well. I bought my own diamond tester, the exact model that the jeweller had used. I read the instructions on how to use it properly and when I tested the gems, they did test as diamonds. When I used the tester the way that jeweller had - wrongly - I could get the test to read as moissanite. Interesting. Make your own conclusion.

  It sounds like you had a great experience-- refund despite being over the 30 day time limit, and you found out that the jeweler had tested them wrong, so they were diamonds after all. Why is your recommendation against this company?
