General Comments

I am a 5'7" senior lady rider and own my Silver/Black Yamaha Majesty 2007 for nearly 1 year. Bought it brand new and didn't ride any bike over 50cc for 48 years (yes, you read this correctly).
I will be 70 years old this year, and after being crippled for a number of years,(and now having 2 steel hips) my husband encouraged me to buy a 2 wheel scooter. I started out with a Vespa 50cc which I rode for 2 years.
I became "brave" and in Aug. 2007 I bought the Majesty 400cc. I do find it an AWESOME machine. Very smooth riding, easy handling, little ripper and well balanced.
I learned soon that it was not a matter of handling the weight of the scooter, but rather how I could keep it balanced.
I can ride it safely in a very low speed with no problem.
I have reached 140 km/h passing other trafic. Strong winds may have a negative effect on smooth riding. The scooter provides great protection from rain.
I rode nearly 6000km and get 25km per litre with speed ranging from 80 to 120 km/h. I ride with highbeam in the daytime for visibility.
I added nice chrome mirrors and a Rally-pack which sits on the passenger's seat and attached to the passenger's backrest. It looks much better than the original "storage ball box". When I go shopping I can easily stow away 4 bags of groceries, using also the space under the seat.
Wherever I go and stop I receive lots of compliments and people can hardly believe that this "old" lady can take off like the lightning (nobody believes that I'm that old anyway.....).
Well folks, I have only good words about the Yamaha Majesty 2007 and I love it.
Two of our four children have heavy motorbikes and I ride with them from time to time. I noticed lately that they've developed great respect for their mother...
