Good Points

There are only two positive things about this airline: they are inexpensive, and they get you to your destination.


General Comments

I was traveling from Vancouver to London, and at the last minute my flight departure time was changed to an hour later, making my connection in London very tight. I decided to take my luggage carry on, which I first got approved by Zoom head offices in Ottawa. I showed up at the airport with 8 kilos in total, no liquids at all. I was told the maximum carry on weight is 5kg and there was nothing they could do. I explained I talked to the Ottawa office and they said it didn't matter. I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he was away and wasn't coming back for a while. I aksed if there was any exception they could do, considering it was their fault my connection was so tight. They said no and proceeded to grab my bag from me and check it. I asked them to please call someone to confirm and they asked me to leave the desk.
When i got on the plane, more than half of the seats were empty, and the overhead compartments were almost completely empty. They could have made an exception based on my situation, but they didn't even listen. The customer service I experienced was appalling and one of the worst I have seen in Canada. I would not reccommend this airline to anyone.
