Not being a pure sports bike, its handling is not the best ( i.e when compared with a GSXR) but hey, you get what you pay for. I often think the digital speedo is not 100% accurate, I've also read others say the same thing and I tend to agree with them. Some people claim that its power delivery is boring, its certainly predictable, but never bored me.
General Comments
Good everyday usable power. Sounds awesome with Two Brothers after market pipes. Looks amazing. I think its the best looking bike out there bar none, one of the reasons I bought it. Tonnes of torque in any gear. I have owned 15 bikes and have finally found a bike I can grow old with. I have absolutely no regrets buying my 2007 SV1000. Done 15,000 kms on it, with zero problems. Best bike I've ever owned.
