this is my first digital camera. wanted a medium priced good looking digital camera and this fitted the bill perfectly. It looks very smart, very clear controls, picture quality with the 2.1 million pixels is very good. easy to download on to computer with supplied software optical zoom is excellent.bit heavy on batteries if monitor is used a lot. serial cable not as fast as usb but acceptable.
