Good Points
Excellent book - absolutely brilliant, it explains complex issues in laymans terms, it looks at illness from a very different perspective, one which if we can accept could change our lives - along similar lines to Louise Hay and Byron Katie's work, but with deeper explanations.

Bad Points
No bad points, however you do need to be open to looking at illness in a different and holistic way to appreciate and get benefit from this book.

General Comments
I was so impressed with The Meaning of Symptoms and How to Interpret Them, as it provides a deep understanding of unconscious psychological conflicts we all have and the part they play in our health and well being.

It explains that our symptoms are like the dashboard warning lights on a car and if we take notice and address them psychologically, the symptoms will go away, if we ignore them then like a car eventually it will turn into a more serious problem.

It explains how our mind and body works as a system and why we become ill and how we can deal with health issues in a more productive way, not to find cures and get rid of the pain, which is the western approach to medicine, but to understand the message our symptoms are giving us.

In doing so, we can resolve the issues which will allow our bodies to heal themselves and therefore the pain/illness is no longer needed to bring our attention to the issue which caused the problem in the first place.

A must read if you want to improve your health and well being.
