my daughter ordered a whirlpool bath she was 7 months pregnant when it was delivered and it was fit and then she had to pay a plumber to install and then take receipt in for money back which she hasn't received yet. Also the first bath they sent was the wrong bath, then the second one which she had to pay the plumber again was faulty, she had to pay the plumber again, and then the bath leaked and flooded new carpet in babies nursery again she had to pay for the plumber to come out again and he said the bath store had sent the wrong part for him to fix the bath, her baby is now over 3 months old and she has still not got this bath sorted out. she has paid all this money and not got the goods she expected, she has spoken to the shop who has told her to write in with all the dates etc, all this at a time of giving birth if that wasn't stressfull enough, she dosnt know where to go next.

Don't mean to upset, but from the sounds of it there seems to be as much of a problem with the installer as there does the product. Judging from the article you're the parent who is angry (and rightly so) that your daughter is in this situation. But did the fitter not check all the joins etc. before doing the job so that it didn't leak(especially second time round)? I have worked for several plumbing/bathroom retailers across the country (and yes formerly bathstore) and the same problem I witnessed often is plumbers that haven't got a clue what there doing and than pass the buck on to product/service when the fault lies closer to home shall we say. Has your installer rectified the problem for free or has he charged? Is he bathroom fitter or a plumber (trust me there's a big difference in the two!).How much did he charge (you should in theory be paying double what a decent suite should cost eg £1.5k for suite = £1.5k for fit).
