Good Points

None - a classic example of a business putting their own interests in front of their customers.


Bad Points

Where to start: Lost cheques paid in, standing orders unpaid without explanation, non-existent communication, long queues, poorly trained counter staff, ever increasing charges matched only by ever decreasing levels of service.


General Comments

I have been a RBS business customer at the Richmond upon Thames branch for over 16 years & have used most of the banks services during that time. For many years I enjoyed an excellent relationship with my business manager who showed interest in my business and was always helpful, polite and had superb communication. Not any more. The rot set in with the merger with Nat West, he left, along with all the long term helpful counter staff. The service is now so bad it defies description, the staff seem to change week to week and they make one mistake after another (see above). They rarely apologise or think they have any obligation to provide any service to the customer. It's just endless questionnaires in a pointless attempt to deceive themselves that they are doing OK. Utterly useless.
