Good Points

This is a fast and reliable SatNav. It is well built and easy to use. Programming favourite locations is easy, and the database of places to find is good. The Wide screen is excellent.

Bad Points

As with all satnavs, the data is only as good as the last update - and to update this one you need to buy a cable to link it to your computer. The cable is not included in the box, and that is a big disappointment.

General Comments

I originally bought a TomTom One, but it had to go back to the shop because it didn't work. The Garmin Nuvi 250 turns out to have been a very good buy. Finding airports and hotels is easy because they are already on the database. I also found a carpark for a long walk in the North York Moors by entering only the map reference. Best of all, when driving across central London in convoy with another car using a TomTom, the Garmin navigated me by a different, quicker route. That's blind luck, I know, but still a good result.
