General Comments
I would write a review on the PC I bought from PC World or the TFT I went to buy the other day from my local PC World but as yet, try as I might, I have been into PC World, with money, to purchase items and left with nothing.
A couple of years ago, against my better judgement I went into PC World in Guildford to purchase a PC. They had special offers on and I identified the machine I was after. I went to a member of staff who was putting price labels on some boxes to ask for his help. He would not even stop what he was doing to look at me and only grunted in response to my questions. So I went off to find another 'sales 'person. This chap was better as he spoke to me. However it was only to tell me they did not have the particular PC in stock that I wanted. So I asked for the next one up. None of those either and it was the same with the next one. So, I left, cross and empty handed but with my wallet intact.
A few days ago I went into the store to purchase a new TFT. I knew what I wanted and their price was as good as anywhere else on the web. But alas. None in stock. The business manager did offer to sell me the display model. At the regular price, with no box, instructions, drivers etc etc. So I left the shop. Empty handed once again.
On 2 occasions PC World have failed to sell me items when I was ready to buy. Not browse but part with my hard earned cash. They seem to have items on display but none in stock and appear unable to offer reasonable suggestions. i.e. we dont have model ABC but model DEF is similar and at a similar price. Terrible.
Oh, I was given one piece of advice. Well a question really. Would I mind going on their website to order it? Well apart from being the same price as in store + P&P, if I am going on the web I will not be using PC World. So 'No' was my answer.

I don't blame you for not buying that monitor. Why shouldn't you get all that stuff with it if you're paying full price?
