Good Points

Ariston AL129x looks stylish and is fairly user friendly.
Started off a very quiet machine.


Bad Points

The main bearing has collapsed and will cost $450 approx to repair
Became very noisy
Was tempramental about whether to spin or not to spin


General Comments

The bearing on my Ariston AL109 came loose after about 18 months use, I have been informed that my service/repair company is reluctant to repair as this model has a habit of coming back for the same repair within 2 years.
The problem appears to lie with the 1600cps spin speed and a motor inadequate to cope. Very disappointed and no reason to repair as fault will continue to occur unless machine is only run on the slow spin cycle
