Good Points

The graphics are pretty nice for the time I'd say 8/10. They werent the best at the time. The best graphics availible were given to Epic for their Unreal Tournament.

Great sound effects, weapons sound nice too 9/10

The bots talk to you when you say something to them. Thats a nice effect too.


Bad Points

Storyline, 3/10 it is worse than the story of the original Doom (which was released 6 years before)

Multiplayer, the amount of online players wasn't as big as ID expected. Actually it has 2 million players less than expected after Quake 2 (which was VERY addictive online) 6/10


General Comments

Overall its quite a nice game.
Good sounds and graphics but the lack of a clear storyline and a not very biG Multi-Community makes the game not very recommedable.
I do recommend Same Year Release Unreal Tournament from Epic Megagames.
(more mods availible too)
Overall score: a minor 7, but still recommend Quake 3 Arena.
