I find it really does pick up my pets hair - even my Border Collie's which gets really into the carpet!
I find the price of the bags isn't so good, but then I had a bagless before so didn't have to buy bags!
I've tried many different vacuum cleaners over the years, as has my mum and I've found personally none of them really picked up the hair, especially without the effort like the Miele Cat n Dog. I also find it really easy to use, all the pipes and fittings come apart easily and it glides round lightly behind me. I can actually say I finally enjoy vacuuming!
